OTHER SPONSORS:
I have been working with Michael since 1999. Michael is the only coach I know who does not belive in a lot of volume. If you can not get the time to do volume training, you should check him out. He also has the best variety of workouts, he is constantly changing his programs and creating more workouts. He owns M2 REVOLUTION in San Francisco-spin bikes with power…awesome!
Health Logic: www.healthlogicllc.com
I see Rikke Johanson at Health Logic and am loving it. Being a “vetran” athlete now I can not rely on recovering on my own…it takes much longer than it use to. I have had a few injuries that I need to maintain plus with having two babies the body needs some work. Rikki is doing Graston technique on hot spot areas (hammy’s, IT band, back) for me. Just after two visits I can tell a difference. She is great, a fellow triathlete, she knows what she is doing.
GU Sports: www.gusports.com
My first Ironman was in 1998. It being my first Ironman I sought out the advice of those that have done Ironman a ton. Not only did I get that adive I also received unsolicited advice of anyone who had done an Ironman. Everyone talk to me about nutrition and that I should be eating 3000 calories on the bike, bars smashed on my bike frame and smoothies in my bottles and yada yada yada. I took their advice….and I have never been so MISERABLE and BLOATED in all my life. From that day on I decided, no solid food during a race. It is gels and water for me and GU has been my product of choice and I have never strayed. I LOVE IT. It has the best flavor, consistency and ingredients, how could I ever switch. I swear by it and even used it during both deliveries!

Stanford Masters: http://www.stanford.edu/group/masters/
When I moved to the bay area in 1998 I was fortunate to meet up with a woman by the name of Holly Nybo. She was a professional triathlete and took me under her wing and introduced me to all the training in the bay area. She intorduced me to Stanford Masters and I have been a member since. The swim complex is gorgeous and the coaching is top notch. Tim Edmonds has been with the program for at since 2001 and has brought new techniques, variety in workouts and a sense of humor to the pool. Each month he “themes” out each day so you know what to expect. I use to swim lots and lots of yardage/meters, but now I am very specific and with his knowlede and access to the Stanford know how, Stanford masters is a great way to get your swimming to your A game!
Janzen and Janzen Chiropractic: www.healthyshoulders.com
Dr. Matt completely kept me from having shoulder surgery. I have subluxated both shoulders many many times, sometimes even during a race. In 2001 I was at a point that surgery seemed to be the only answer. My husband had been going to Matt and swore by him and his A.R.T. So in 2001 I went in, with a shoulder that I could barley lift over my head and and he worked on it doing A.R.T. for FOUR months. I have not had a subluxation since.
